{ الأسطرلاب } { Astrolabe }

🔭 هو آلة تُستخدم لتعيين الارتفاعات الخاصّة في الأجرام السماويّة، كما استُخدمت لتحديد الوقت، والاتجاهات المتنوّعة، ويعدُّ من الأجهزة المُستخدمة لرصد المسافات بين الكواكب، وتحديد المواقع الخاصة بها.

يُعرَّف الأسطرلاب بأنّه أداة تُستخدم في تطبيق القياسات الفلكيّة والملاحة، مثل قياس قيمة خطوط العرض .

ومن التعريفات الأخرى للأسطرلاب هو الوَسيلة المُستخدمة للحصولِ على ارتفاعات النجوم أو الشمس، وتقديم الحلول للعَديد من القضايا الخاصة في علم الفلك.

🔭من أهم استخداماته :- 

- المساهمة في تحديد اتجاه القِبلة .

- معرفة مواعيد المناسبات والتي من أهمها تَحديد مواعيد الصلوات، والأوقات الخاصّة في الزكاة، ومَعرفة أشهر الحج، كما استُخدم لتحديد مواعيد بدايات ونهايات الشّهور العربيّة ، وخصوصاً شهر رمضان الذي يَحتاج تَحديده إلى دقّةٍ كبيرةٍ لمعرفة بدايته ونهايته.

   #Astrolabe, is a type of early scientific instrument used for reckoning time and for observational purposes. 

One widely employed variety, the planispheric astrolabe, enabled astronomers to calculate the position of the Sun and prominent stars with respect to both the horizon and the meridian. 

It provided them with a plane image of the celestial sphere and the principal circles-namely, those representing the ecliptic, celestial equator, and tropics of Cancer and Capricorn because of such features, the planispheric astrolabe can be regarded as a kind of rudimentary analog computer.
